Interim Contracts Assistant -Hybrid Working – PSR 1JP00067672
Pay Rate: Up to £ per day pay range subject to IR35 status
Location: Milton Keynes – Four days in the office, one day from home for first 2 months, 2 days in the office 3 days from home after 2 months.
Contract Length: Anticipated 6 months
JOB INFO:
A Contracts Assistant – Logistics/ Procurement is needed on a contract basis for approximately 6 months.
What you’ll do:
Sending out weekly and periodic reports to suppliers.
Updating the team with new information from customers and suppliers.
Ordering free issue materials.
Managing the free issue material orders closely with the Maintenance team to ensure delivery on time.
Supporting the Business Support Specialist in day to day activities.
Dealing with queries from projects.
Updating trackers to ensure orders have been placed for materials and the progress of the order.
Running periodic reports to assist with Monthly Business Review
Working closely with commercial team with updates required on the online logistics system
Uploading documents to the system
Attending weekly supplier calls and ad hoc project meetings.
Who you are:
Good customer service skills.
Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
Working at pace and under pressure.
Ability to multi- task and prioritise.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Previous experience in the rail industry – desirable
Previous logistics/procurement experience – desirable
