We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our newly refurbished, male Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit in Basingstoke, Mid & North Hampshire Division. The post holder will be based at Parklands Hospital, Basingstoke and will become part of a team of consultants working in the Acute Care Team.The PICU Hazel ward forms part of the Acute Care Pathway, together with the Acute Mental Health Team, and two 18 bedded single sex adult acute admission units, all based at Parklands Hospital. The 10 beds in Basingstoke together with 10 beds in Southampton provide the psychiatric intensive care needed by those who are most unwell within mental health services across the Trust. The post-holder will join 7 other consultant colleagues within the Acute Care Pathway, working together with the Acute Care Pathway Matron as part of the clinical leadership team.
