Applications are invited for a consultant in Palliative Care, working across the Portsmouth and Southeast Hampshire Locality Delivery System. Employed by Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and working with Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHUT), Rowans Hospice Charity and Solent NHS Trust.Joining the existing three consultants and two specialist doctors, this expanding rotation will serve the two community specialist palliative care teams serving Portsmouth and Southeast Hampshire (population c.600k), Queen Alexandra Hospital palliative care team (1200 beds) and Rowans Hospice services (19 in-patient beds), H@H, Living Well Centre & other services. The existing medical team also includes two Specialist Registrar posts, two GP VTS, two FY2 trainees and 2+ specialty doctor posts who maintain a 1 in 5 or less first on-call hospice rota.
