If you’re looking for a support worker role like no other, Chrysalis has the career for you. Chrysalis is no ordinary place to work. This is a place that’s unique. Experience is preferred but not essential. We want you to have positive values and a willingness to learn and develop in your role.
Forget support worker jobs that are all about the same routine, day in, day out – no two days here are the same. We can promise you something really different – something that will bring a smile to your face every time you come to work.
From our bases, Chrysalis supports adults with disabilities, with a strong focus on those with learning disabilities, to live their best lives. We want the people we support to be active and independent. Driving licence essential.
We want you to work with individuals to develop and build on people’s abilities, enabling them to develop their strengths and interests, and to have an active role in their community.
Our benefits package is among the best in our sector. It includes a competitive salary, contributory pension, healthcare benefit scheme, 30 days’ holiday (including bank holidays) rising to 35 days, Wholefood Shop discount, Blue Light Card eligibility, discounted Gym Membership and extensive training opportunities.
Have you got some fabulous creative skills that you could share? We offer all these activities to the people we support:
Woodwork / pottery / crafts
Horticulture / hospitality / baking / cooking / retail
Photography / media / IT
Fitness & healthy lifestyles including fellwalking, cycling, going to the gym, swimming
Music / singing / dancing
If you want to share your passion and support others to develop their talents, we would love you to join our friendly community activities team, providing excellent opportunities and activities for the people we support.
Community activities hours: Full and part-time positions available which will possibly include elements of evening and weekend work.
Full training will be provided so no experience in support is required. We are looking for people with the right attitude, skills and interests who are passionate about working with people.
