Role Class 1 Driver DemonstratorLocation TelfordHours Days Mon – Fri 40 Hours / Occasional Nights out a week with meals paid forRemuneration £32,000 + Pension + Private Pension Experienced Class 1 Driver with agricultural experience required to join an established Telford based company as Driver Demonstrator.This is an exciting role for a Class 1 Driver looking to utilise their skills in a customer focused role to develop a career in agricultural equipment demonstration at customer sites and exhibitions.Working days Monday to Friday, there will be some nights away from home with meals and refreshment allowance provided plus allowance and paid overtime as well as a really good overall package.As driver demonstrator you will use Class 1 vehicle to drive agricultural equipment and machinery to events held through our clients dealer network and direct to customers. Duties will include:
• Loading and unloading machinery at site
• Driving and operating agricultural equipment to include tractors and bedding and feeding equipment
• Demonstrating machine capability to customers and prospective customers
• Providing general machinery specification information
To succeed in this role, you will have the following experience:
• Have a Class 1 HGV licence
• Have a hands-on practical approach, with experience of operating and demonstrating agricultural machinery (Training provided)
• Be able to learn new skills and develop your product knowledge
• Have the ability to handle GPS technology
• Present a professional image with good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
• Be self-motivated and able to manage your time
