An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse, with experience of working with children and young people, to join the Children’s Continuing Care Team in Leicestershire and Merseyside, within the Personalised Healthcare Commissioning Service. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who has excellent leadership skills and clinical experience within the field of children and young people’s nursing. The ideal candidate will be able to manage challenging situations, have confidence in their decision-making, excellent communication skills, commitment to deliver the service within specific timescales and a passion for delivering excellence in the field of commissioning. Continuing Care is a complex field where nursing skills, experience and knowledge is used to full potential in a dynamic and non-traditional nursing environment. The Children’s Team ensures the guidance in accordance with the
National Framework for Children’s Continuing Care is carried out and managed effectively. This role will ensure processes are adhered to and will incorporate working across the wide geography, liaising with relevant professionals from multidisciplinary health, education and local authority teams.
