Recroot are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities Team based with Liverpool City Council.

This role is starting asap, working Mon to Fri up to 36 hours a week in an ongoing contract.

The Disabled Children’s Team provides support to disabled children with complex needs who require specialist services. The Team works closely with partner agencies to secure the best possible outcomes for children, young people and their families and works with adults services to secure transition to adulthood.

The team offers a high quality support aimed at supporting children and young people to remain at home and within their communities by providing the right support at the right time. They also work with children in need, child protection and children who are looked after.

We are looking for a practitioner with experience of working with disabled children, an understanding of supporting children with complex health needs, and the continuing care process. An understanding of court work including Best interest Meetings and Court of Protection Working from a strength based model would also be an advantage.
