Children Support Worker Jobs, drivers needed, weekly pay
Your new role
Based in The Bridge of Weir, you will be supporting children with a physical or learning disability.
As a project worker, you will support the service user with all aspects of their daily care and wellbeing needs, provide a safe and nurturing warm and loving environment to ensure that each person thrives, and ensure each service user are given opportunities to develop themselves in all aspects of their own lives and allow them to realise their full potential.
We are looking for compassionate, empathetic, hands on, eager to learn support workers who drive. There are full time hours with a variety of shift patterns available.
What you’ll need to succeed
A minimum of 6 months experience within a similar care setting in the last 2 years
Drivers required
SVQ Level 2 or Level 3 are desirable but not vital
Experience and willingness to provide/assist with personal care when required (helping to wash, toilet, dress and assisting with meals).
Experience in administering medication, preparing meals, and planning and partaking in activities
Experience with providing support and care to children or adults with learning disabilities.
Experience with dealing with challenging behaviour.
Being passionate about supporting people with a genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and the ability to be a good team player
