Child Health Admin Assistant

Child Health Admin Assistant Band 2 within Integrated Child Health Records Team This position is 37.5hours/week working within the Integrated Child Health Team based at Workington Community Hospital. As a department we cover Child Health Information Systems, 0-5 Universal Service and School-based Immunisations. This role is mainly working within the 0-5 Universal Service. The Child Health Admin Assistant will provide and co-ordinate all clerical and administrative duties, supporting the provision of an efficient and effective service. They would need to have good general admin skills, be polite and confident on the phone, be generally well organised in their working practices, and be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. They would need to have good verbal and written skills. Confidentiality and discretion is essential. The successful candidate would need to have a good
level of IT skills and being familiar with NHS systems would be desired but not essential. Training will be offered, with supervision and support provided by the Team Leader Support the delivery of the healthy child programme interventions including making and sending out appointments, scanning and archiving of records, support the wider Integrated Child Health Records team during busy periods.
