Catering Staff / Front of House Assistants / Customer Service assistant

We are looking for self-motivated, friendly and efficient candidates to join our Catering department as Front of House service assistant for all catering outlets across the campus. Duties will include the smooth running of day to day activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service experience and a desire to serve the general public, staff and students.
Working hours – various contracts available from 15 up to a maximum of 30 hours per week. Working days will be 5 out of 7 days including weekends and bank Holidays on a rota basis.
Working hours, days and weeks can be tailored to each candidate’s needs which can be discussed at interview.
You will have:
• Good Customer Service Experience
• Cash handling and cash reconciliation experience
• A friendly and ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
• Ability to work to agreed quality standards and timescales
• Flexible and adaptable

Pay – £16,255.20 per annum (£20,048.08 per annum pro rata) which is National Living Wage from 1st April 2023 for a 30 hour a week contract.
