To perform clinical duties under the specialty
of Technical Cardiology acting as an associate practitioner. The post holder
carries responsibility for patient care for the duration of specific
physiological measurement investigations and is responsible for patient care
for each span of duty in the absence of
Senior Cardiac Physiologists. The post holder carries responsibility for the
management of their clinical caseload, and that of those under supervision. The
post holder will provide specialist professional direction and expertise in the
technical discipline of Electrocardiography (ECG) and will act as an
educational resource within the technical department.
