An exciting opportunity to join the staff at Westhill Golf Club!!

We are looking for a Bar Supervisor to work in the clubhouse.

The Bar supervisor will be expected to work behind the bar and to ensure that it is always kept clean, tidy, fully stocked and ready for service. They will, as required, supervise casual workers who will help out when the bar is busy or to provide cover. The Bar Supervisor will also provide training to staff, making sure they have the skills and knowledge about the drinks on offer to be able to make recommendations to guests.

The person we are looking for should have:

a friendly manner so that guests can feel welcome in the clubhouse.

excellent guest service skill, providing a high level of service that will encourage guests to come back again.

good knowledge of food and beverage service.

good command in both spoken and written English in order to be able to deal effectively with guests, suppliers and other Club employees.

supervisory skills experience. Able to determine when additional cover will be needed and to ensure that casual workers are employed in the most efficient way possible.

Knowledge of licencing conditions to be able to make sure that the Club complies with those conditions at all times.
