My client is a national Facilities Management provider who has a new vacancy for an Air Conditioning Engineer to work on a mobile basis working on one large commercial contract based in Aberdeen and covering all associated buildings within the surrounding areas
Your role is to ensure all reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within the agreed SLAs. Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of the contract within your allocated sites and in accordance with the contractual SLAs.
Your main duties will include:
Carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance within commercial premises- ensuring all works are carried out within agreed SLAs.
Carrying out repairs and attending breakdowns within commercial premises- which will include providing a call-out response.
Diagnose faults and rectify these issues where possible.
To provide a flexible approach to working practices within the maintenance team which could involve undertaking tasks associated with building maintenance.
To produce accurate documentation as required and to keep up-to-date records of statutory inspections e.g. L8 documentation, etc.
Undertake minor quoted works from the initial outset, through installation to completion as required whilst completing all required test certifications.
To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
To provide emergency call-out response for the client as required and work as part of a call-out rota.
To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
The successful candidate should have:
Served recognised apprenticeship – SVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration.
Holding City & Guilds FGas 2079 safe handling of refrigerants.
Experience working within a busy, client-facing FM environment.
Strong background in Technical Facilities Management with mechanical bias.
Customer liaison skills.
COSHH awareness.
Full UK driving licence.
