An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Nurse/ Clinical Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team within HMP Haverigg. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering healthcare service within a prison environment whose aim is to improve the health of patients. As an ANP/ACP you will be a high level autonomous clinical practitioner who is able to triage, assess, diagnose and manage a range of minor injuries and illnesses, proactively manage long term conditions and be a competent non-medical prescriber. Experience of working with patients with substance misuse and desirably mental health issues would be an advantage but full support and training will be provided. Be part of an innovative and exciting new model of primary healthcare provision, engaging with a vulnerable population with interesting and diverse needs.
