Academic Teaching Fellows work with module leads to plan and deliver all aspects of undergraduate medical education to first and second year medical students. The role has an emphasis on demonstrating clinical skills and providing clinical context to student learning in the first and second years of medical school. As part of the Academic Teaching Fellow team, the position offers the opportunity to be involved in a variety of academic tasks including student assessment and applicant selection. Additionally, those completing a 12-month post working a minimum of 0.6 FTE canapply for a fully funded University of Buckingham PGCert in Medical Education. The PGCert compliments the role of an Academic Teaching Fellow, evidences your pedagogical development and can contribute to recognition of Fellowship with Advance HE.
